Every stain, sorted.

Quick tips and techniques for tackling the most common household stains. Our concentrated pods with phosphate-free formula work on tough, set-in stains — here's how.

General stain removal tips

Act quickly

The sooner you treat a stain, the easier it is to remove. Fresh stains are always simpler to tackle than set-in ones.

Blot, don't rub

Rubbing can spread the stain and push it deeper into the fabric. Always blot gently from the outside in.

Test first

Test any cleaning method on a hidden area first to ensure it won't damage or discolor the fabric.

Cold water for protein stains

Blood, sweat, and egg stains should always be treated with cold water. Hot water can set these stains permanently.
